1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client” or “you”) and Shine & Shift (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a professional cleaning and moving services provider operating in the United Arab Emirates.
By booking any of our services — whether through our website, WhatsApp, phone call, or any other communication channel — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. Services Offered
Shine & Shift provides the following professional services across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and nearby emirates:
- Deep Cleaning: Comprehensive interior cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and specialized surfaces.
- Regular Maintenance: Scheduled recurring cleaning services (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) for homes and offices.
- Residential Moving: Professional packing, transportation, and unpacking services for home relocations within the UAE.
- Office Relocation: End-to-end corporate moving services including IT equipment handling, furniture disassembly/assembly, and minimal-downtime planning.
- Plumbing: General plumbing repairs, fixture installation, leak detection, and pipe maintenance.
- AC Repair & Maintenance: Air conditioning servicing, repair, cleaning, and installation support.
- Electrical Fixes: Minor electrical repairs, lighting installation, outlet replacement, and general electrical maintenance.
- General Building Maintenance: Comprehensive property upkeep including painting, drywall repair, tiling, and general handyman services.
The specific scope, pricing, and timeline for each service will be communicated and agreed upon prior to commencement via a custom quote.
3. Bookings & Scheduling
- All service bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
- Bookings can be made via WhatsApp (+971543351974), phone (+971 54 335 1974), or through our website.
- A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive written confirmation from our team (via WhatsApp or email).
- We strive to arrive within the scheduled time window. However, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you promptly of any delays.
- For moving services, an on-site or virtual assessment may be required before finalizing the booking and quotation.
4. Pricing & Payment
- All pricing is provided as custom quotes tailored to your specific requirements. Prices may vary based on property size, service complexity, location, and scheduling preferences.
- Quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is due upon completion of the service unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing. For large moving projects, a deposit of up to 30% may be required at the time of booking.
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and major debit/credit cards.
- Any additional work requested during the service that falls outside the original scope may incur extra charges, which will be communicated before proceeding.
- All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Client Cancellation: You may cancel or reschedule a booking free of charge by providing at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled service time.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the quoted service price.
- No-shows (failure to provide access to the property at the scheduled time) will be charged the full service fee.
- Company Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to staff unavailability, extreme weather, or other force majeure events. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of any deposits paid.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure smooth service delivery, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the service location, access instructions, and any special requirements.
- Ensure safe and unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled time.
- Secure all valuables, jewelry, cash, important documents, and fragile items before our team arrives, unless such items are included in the agreed service scope (e.g., packing for a move).
- Inform us of any hazardous materials, pest infestations, or structural issues at the property that may affect our staff's safety.
- Ensure that pets are secured during the service visit.
- Provide adequate parking for our service vehicles, especially for moving services.
7. Liability & Damages
- Shine & Shift takes great care in performing all services. However, we shall not be held liable for damage to items that are inherently fragile, improperly packed (by the client), or not disclosed prior to the service.
- For moving services, any damage claims must be reported in writing within 48 hours of service completion, accompanied by photographic evidence.
- Our maximum liability for any single service engagement shall not exceed the total amount paid for that service.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues caused by faulty property infrastructure (e.g., loose tiles, weak fixtures).
- Damage caused by negligence on the part of our staff will be assessed, and fair compensation or repair will be provided at our discretion.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
We are committed to delivering premium-quality service. If you are not satisfied with the results of a cleaning service, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will arrange a complimentary re-clean of the specific areas of concern at no additional charge. This guarantee does not apply to moving or maintenance services where the work has been completed as per the agreed scope.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, images, design elements, and software — is the property of Shine & Shift and is protected by UAE and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without prior written consent.
10. Force Majeure
Shine & Shift shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, extreme weather events, civil unrest, or disruption to transportation infrastructure.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve any disputes amicably before pursuing formal legal action.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
